 I'm Tracie, the girl behind Photography by Tracie.  I am a national Wedding Photographer that specializes in Elopements, Micro Weddings, Engagements, and Lifestyle Portrait Sessions based out of the New Orleans, Louisiana and Baltimore, Maryland.

 

I have been a photographer for 20 years.   I am based out of Baltimore, Maryland and New Orleans  Louisiana. I am a dog momma to two Labrador Retrievers, EmmyMae ShutterBug, and two little pittie girls Bailey and Bella. I  split my time shooting between the East Coast and Gulf Coast.  My story is just like yours - we all go through seasons in our life that shape us and mold us into the people we are today.  It's 2020 and I can finally say that I am married to a fella that I met four years ago in the streets of New Orleans.   Who knew you had to travel 1100 miles to find a man from Baltimore that loves the Orioles as much as you do!?   If you're getting married in the New Orleans area, you'll end up seeing him on wedding days.  He doubles as my second shooter and he is an incredible asset to me and my couples on a wedding day.

My first go round in the photography world, I was started as a concert photographer.  There was no such thing as photoshop or lightroom.  You had your film and your camera and your skills and that's it. During that season of my life, I took on a few handfuls of weddings and portrait sessions. That's where I found my style.  When I came back to the wedding world for the second time, I kept my style and I let the images speak for themselves without a lot of fussy  overlays or presets.  See, I believe that a photo should be able to stand on it's own straight out of camera.  I want to show you your wedding day exactly as it was..not as a fantasy or as it wasn't. My artistic style is an extension of who I am: honest, true, clear, clean, full of life and colors that are real.

My style is very colorful,  full of life, authentic,candid...timeless. I want you to look back on your wedding photos 20 years from now and be just as in love with them as you were the day you received them from me. We aren't just taking photos, we are making memories and I am capturing those moments that will become an heirloom to your family.When all of the fads fade out,the photos we create together will stand the test of time and be a part of your legacy in this world.​
