Where do I begin. I grew up in dance studios. When you spend over half of your life dedicated to an art form, it's pretty tough to not still have that fire and drive for it inside of you. I see a new generation of talented, driven, focused, hard working gorgeous girls that surpass everything I ever did and I just stand in awe of them. This photo series is a passion of mine. It's been a while since I have revisited this project and I'm looking so forward to shooting some more girls in different environments.
I was lucky enough to talk to Angelina's Mom and Dad and they let me shoot her for an evening. She was such a pleasure to work with, she took direction amazingly well and had no issues showing me what her training has allowed her to do. Talking with her while walking through the park, she told me she wants to be Choreographer and a Physical Therapist. She dances around 5 days a week and keep her grades at an impressive level.
